Greetings Everyone! I am so happy to participate in this year’s VAAL Art Show.

The Visual Artists Alliance of LaGrange VAAL brings together local artists to share ideas, amplify their visibility and expand the art community. Every year the members of VAAL have an art show where we can exhibit our latest artwork and invite the community to share and enjoy the Arts!!

VAAL is located in LaGrange GA, but the community artists VAAL represents are from all over Georgia and part of Alabama. Last Friday September 2nd 2016 was the opening reception of the annual VAAL Art Exhibition.This Show enables local amateur and emerging artists who are members of the VAAL to exhibit their work, this time in Lagrange Art Museum.Awards were given by  Dennis Harper, Curator of Collections and Exhibitions at the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Arts at Auburn University.

Also the Visual Artists Alliance of LaGrange proudly features the art of the Austin Wieland The whole 2nd floor of the LaGrange Art Museum is filled with Wieland’s mechanic-ceramic artwork. It’s really cool and interesting to see how these ceramic objects move in mechanical way.
